Julia A. M. Hayden

I got my first bitnet address in 1988, and I built my first gopher in 1992. In 1993, I convinced the system administrator in the Department of Environmental Sciences at UVa to install a webserver, and I developed my first web page shortly thereafter. The origins of the Ancient World Web, the web's first index to all things Ancient, and Charlottesville On-line, an index to all resources dealing with my hometown, date back to this time. In the past thirteen years, I've maintained a personal web presence at julen.net that has attracted attention from around the world.
