Obituary of Frank Phillips

Frank Phillips Dies in Mississippi

Word was received last night by Atlanta friends of the death of Frank P. Phillips, 76, of Columbus, Miss., yesterday. He was a former Atlantan and one of the leading cotton merchants of the south.

Mr. Phillips came from one of Atlanta's oldest families. His mother was the late Mrs. Evelyn Hayden Phillips.

Funeral services will be held today at Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lavinna Robertson.
