To design a web site for a local realtor
Design Discussion:
The site featured a bold picture of the realtor smiling, and extending
out of the black semi-circle, breaking the boundaries of the black, the
green, and the purple.
Pictures of actual houses he was representing - or had represented the buyer for, would populate in the background randomly.
Rejection Rationale:
It wasn't sentimental enough.
The realtor opted to go with a site filled with "cute cartoons" and "something a little more friendly;" his son chose to use free web art (buttons, dividing lines) on the site he eventually went with. "It looks familiar to people," he told me.
